Armstead G. Johnson brings over 35 years of dedicated service in the non-profit sector, with a focus on senior management roles. Throughout his illustrious career, Armstead has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of youth and families, particularly in urban areas of New Jersey.

With a robust background in program management, Armstead has been instrumental in spearheading the creation of innovative programs aimed at addressing the diverse needs of communities. His expertise spans various facets of development, including special events coordination, direct mail appeals, and successful grant writing initiatives.

Armstead's educational journey includes an undergraduate degree from Howard University and a master's degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University, where he honed his skills in strategic planning and organizational leadership. Complementing his academic achievements, he has earned a Competent Toastmaster (CTM) designation from Toastmasters International for his exemplary written and oral communication abilities. Furthermore, Armstead has continuously sought to enhance his professional credentials, earning an Executive Leadership Certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
